Crawbat provides an AI-powered customer support system, including a website widget and backend infrastructure, designed to generate responses based on business-provided data.

The service:

• Uses client-provided documentation
• May utilize third-party AI providers such as OpenAI
• Does not guarantee complete accuracy of responses

You acknowledge that:

• Responses are generated automatically
• Results may vary depending on the quality of your data

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Use the service for business purposes

By using Crawbat, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining access credentials
• All activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• Terms are violated
• Misuse or abuse is detected
• Payments are not completed

Subscription

• Services are billed monthly
• Subscriptions renew automatically
• No minimum commitment

Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time
• Cancellation stops future billing
• Current billing period is non-refundable

Setup Fee

• Setup fees typically range from $3,000 to $10,000+ depending on scope
• Once work has started, setup fees are non-refundable

Non-Payment

If payment fails:

• The widget functionality may be disabled
• Access to the portal may remain available

We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment.

Crawbat is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service
• Specific uptime levels
• Error-free operation

Support inquiries are typically addressed within a reasonable timeframe (several business days).

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the system
• Overload or abuse the infrastructure
• Use the service for spam or automated abuse

Sensitive Data

You must not upload:

• Personal health information
• Financial account data
• Sensitive personal data

Crawbat is not responsible for any sensitive data uploaded by you.

• You retain ownership of your original data
• Crawbat retains ownership of system architecture, data structuring methods, and internal formats and transformations

We may:

• Process your data to provide the service
• Use anonymized data to improve system performance

We do not train AI models on your private data.

Crawbat relies on third-party providers (e.g. OpenAI).

We are not responsible for:

• Their availability
• Their data handling practices
• Their performance

Your use of Crawbat implies acceptance of these dependencies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Crawbat is not liable for:

• Decisions made based on AI responses
• Loss of revenue, profits, or data
• Inaccuracies in client-provided information

Total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for one (1) month of service.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You fail to make payments
• Your use creates risk or harm

Data Retention

After termination:

• Your data may be retained for up to 6 months
• Data may be permanently deleted after that period

All rights related to software, infrastructure, and system design belong to Crawbat.

You may not:

• Copy or reproduce any part of the system
• Resell or sublicense the service

Any use requires explicit written permission from Crawbat.

Crawbat does not guarantee:

• Accuracy of responses
• Completeness of information
• Suitability for any specific use

You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Florida.

You agree:

• Not to participate in class actions
• To resolve disputes individually
